Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a seasonal Retail Lead to join our team at Yellowstone General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. As a Retail Lead, you will be responsible for supervising the performance of team members in your specific department.

Responsibilities 

• Verify that merchandise is properly stocked and attractively shown
• Supervises retail associates; completes store/warehouse operational needs by assigning employees and following up on work results.
• Keep team members on task absent of the supervisor
• Trains associates and works to maintain retail standards, policies, and procedures.
• Monitors store floor, assist with guests needs and requests.
• Ensure selling space is in clean and proper condition
• Uphold orderly back stock and liaison with vendors to maintain proper inventory
• Other duties as necessary

Qualifications 

• Previous experience leading in a retail space is preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills – ability to communicate with staff and prepare written reports.
• Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to direct the work activities of several associates simultaneously and plan ahead.   
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Basic math skills; ability to accurately handle money and count change.

Physical Requirements 

• Long-term standing, walking, bending, and reaching
• Repetitive lifting of up to 50 pounds
