MIG Welder

As a MIG Welder, you'll be at the forefront of safely assembling these products, presenting an exciting chance to develop your skills and progress in your career.

Pay Rate: $20.73/hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive instructions from welding supervisor and "A" Welders
• Fit and assemble parts using appropriate welding techniques and equipment
• Clean and prepare surfaces for welding, ensuring parts are welded to required tolerance
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Lift up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 85 pounds
• Meet or exceed production standards with minimal supervision
• Work scheduled shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed
• Operate material handling equipment safely and responsibly

Qualifications:

• Ability to pass company entry-level welding and tape tests
• Understand verbal and written orders
• Weld clean, high-quality, certifiable products
• Count, sort, and read blueprints
• Complete inventory tickets and set up welding machines
• Possess manual dexterity skills
• High school diploma or GED
• 1 year or less experience in welding, preferably with 6 months of formal training
