Paramedic

We are hiring an experienced Paramedic to join their passionate and dedicated team. We have multiple shifts/workweeks available, so pick the one that works best for you. This is an exciting direct-hire opportunity where you can make a difference and help save lives!

Pay: $18.22+ per hour (Based on experience)

Available Shifts:

6 pm - 7 am, Monday-Wednesday

6:30 am - 7 pm, Friday-Sunday

The Paramedic will be responsible for the assessment and management of medical, trauma and environmental emergencies under the supervision of on or off-line medical control and transporting sick/injured persons to medical facilities. Additional responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Life support, airway management, oxygen therapy, venous access, shock prevention, splinting, and spinal immobilization.
• Immobilizes extremities of trauma patients; applies direct pressure to control hemorrhaging.
• Assess pain and provide pain management.
• Interprets basic cardiac monitoring.
• Administer fluids and medications in the field.
• Maintains ambulance supplies and equipment.
• Completes documentation and ensures paperwork meets current standards and policies.
• Follows the seven (7) medication rights and reduces the potential for medication errors.

Qualifications:

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Current EMT - Paramedic certification.
• Current BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Valid State of Arkansas Driver's License.
• Capable of frequent heavy lifting, up to 100 pounds.
