HX5 is currently seeking a Junior Model Based Systems Engineer to join our Digital Acquisition Sustainment team at Eglin AFB.

The selected candidate will be assigned as an employee for HX5 or one of our teammate companies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Model the digital acquisition process within the Government Reference Architecture
• Assist additional program offices with the digital acquisition transition
• Conduct reviews on armament programs portfolio to evaluate and/or recommend alternative plans, improve systems engineering programs/processes, manage/sustain program technical baseline, and design/perform system level tests to assure that subsystems and system performance is achieved
• Analyze and/or evaluate results of major engineering weapon systems
• Assist with any other additional duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

• Engineering undergraduate degree from ABET accredited college.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

• This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.

Other Position Requirements:

• Proof of U.S. Citizenship is a requirement for this position.
• Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an interim clearance by date of hire.
