Cycle (Reliability) Test supervisor ensures that established quality standards are met with respect to the reliability of cells and modules. The main role of the Cycle Test supervisor is to verify and assure product reliability in accordance with quality standards that are determined either by international standards or by a specific customer requirement. Cycle Test supervisor must verify necessary test requirements and provide issue resolution for all discovered reliability issues. The goal of the safety test is to ensure customer satisfaction and improve manufacturing yield.

Additional responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct training for all cell technical hourly personnel
  • Manage people, work schedule and budget.
  • To ensure all technicians complete all assigned tasks in timely and efficient manner
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis of all environmental in-process and material issues which may impact reliability testing and implement follow-up corrective measures to resolve identified reliability issues
  • Conduct reliability testing for mass production 4M product changes and any & all urgent customer reliability testing requirements
  • Review and update product specifications, inspection standards, manuals, and lesson learned activities
  • Develop, implement, and monitor efficacy of corrective and preventive actions
  • Prepare updates and reports of reliability customer outcome and communicate to cross functional team including production, development and purchasing
  • Provide management updates regularly
  • Facilitate reviews to eliminate internal systemic and external roadblocks. Collaborate with management on team road map and strategy
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to provide delivery according to schedule
  • Manage multiple priorities and deliver internal and external results on time
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to clarify business and technical requirements for reliability testing

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Engineering degree required 
  • Minimum of 5 years of industrial automation and controls experience with strong foundation in project management
  • Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interface with various level of employees within all areas of the organization including hourly employees to Senior Leadership
  • Ability to build effective cross functional relationships internally and externally
  • Demonstrated technical problem-solving ability
  • Goal oriented self-starter with ability to lead teams
  • Ability to coach / mentor / develop Reliability Engineers
  • Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work overtime as required

 Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Statistics or Mathematics. (Bachelor's degree in Engineering with strong experience in Statistical Analysis and Reliability Methods)
  • Bilingual English / Korean
  • Master's degree in Statistics or Mathematics
  • Experience in continuous improvement systems and lean manufacturing
  • Black Belt Six Sigma / Shainin Red X Certification
  • Experience with the AIAG Advanced Quality Planning and Control Plans, FMEA, Production Part Approval Process, MSA, and SPC (Statistical Process Control)
  • Experience with quality certification and system such as ISO9001 / IATF16949 is required
  • Familiar with World Class Manufacturing pillar methodology and implementation
  • Extensive knowledge in Data Analytics utilizing MS Excel, MS Access, or other database applications
  • Good working knowledge of Google Suite software programs
  • ASQ Certification in Quality and Reliability
