Packer Operator - Job Description

Prime Beverage Group is looking for a team-oriented and passionate Materials Inspector. The right candidate will take pride in contributing to our continued growth and expansion initiatives as part of the team. This is a full time, hourly position that reports to the Packaging Manager.

Position Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of your equipment, processes, and actions.

• Ensures all materials are correct based on the production schedule for all products being packaged.
• Monitor and inspect the flow of materials to identify, detect, and remove defective packaging.

• Achieve Quality metrics.
• Ensure equipment and plant hygiene.
• Maintain all records accurately and completely.
• Ensure all data is complete, accurate and entered into the ERP system.

• Accountable for Safety, Quality, and Service for your area of responsibility.
• Possess thorough understanding of our products and procedures.
• Help where needed to support the team.
• Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Participate in audits and investigations as needed.
• Support a culture of Operational Excellence.
• Participate in problem solving when needed.
• Uphold the Plant Vision and Code of Conduct.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Position Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Capability to read and write English.
• Ability to bend, kneel, climb steps, and stand for long periods of time.
• Capacity to safely lift, move, and carry up to 25 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to work in cold, wet, and noisy conditions.
