If you are a motivated individual who takes pride in their work and enjoys working outdoors, the Cache County Vegetation Management Division invites you to apply for the Seasonal Vegetation Management Technician position.

This is a full-time, seasonal position working 40 hours per week, Monday-Thursday with occasional Fridays as needed. This seasonal position will begin 5/6/2024 and end 8/22/2024.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will assist with plant identification, GPS mapping, treatment of noxious weeds, and other vegetation control measures.

Working in various outdoor environments on private and public lands around Cache County will provide a change in scenery almost daily. This position will also be operating UTVs, driving pickup trucks while pulling trailers, using boats to spray noxious weeds in aquatic areas, and hiking with backpack sprayers to perform chemical weed management practices.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Graduation from High School or GED required. Must be at least 18 years old. Previous related experience is preferred but not required.
