MRO Buyer I

Litehouse is seeking a full-time MRO Buyer I to join our team. This is not a remote position and will require daily in-office attendance.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF OUR MRO BUYER I

In this role, you are the key player in ensuring the smooth operation of our MRO supply procurement and inventory activities. You will be responsible for purchasing parts and supplies while managing inventory levels. Keeping orders and purchasing information organized and up to date is essential for efficient operations. Regular inventory checks help identify and eliminate obsolete parts, preventing unnecessary costs.

Your attention to details shines through in various administrative tasks such as assigning purchases to work orders, tracking part usage history, and monitoring supplier performance. Through this monitoring, it allows you to promptly report any issues, ensuring a reliable supply chain.

Stewardship drives you in price research/monitoring, obtaining quotes, and managing credit card reporting. Strong communication skills are critical to facilitate effective communication between purchase requestors and vendors. Additionally, maintaining complete vendor packets and necessary documentation guarantees compliance and successful vendor relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR OUR MRO BUYER I

• Highschool diploma or equivalent required
• 1-3 years of experience in inventory management
• Experience with MRO or other repair part inventory managements preferred
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and computer skills
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test
