Who is Pali Mountain:

Nestled in the San Bernardino Mountains between Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear, our 250-acre mountain facility is conveniently located in Running Springs, CA, only 90 minutes from Los Angeles, Orange, and San Diego Counties. Pali Mountain is home to Pali Adventures, an overnight sleep away camp, Pali Institute, an outdoor education program and Pali Retreat, a mountain retreat and conference center.

What You Will Do:

Job responsibilities to include but not limited to:

Primary responsibility:

• General service of all vehicles and equipment and logging of service intervals:
• Fluid changes.
• Motor oil, transmission, radiator, differential, transfer case, brake and all essential fluids.

Maintaining service log:

• Keep a detailed service log of when all vehicles and equipment are serviced and when the next anticipated service date is. Make sure they are scheduled for their servicing with the appropriate associate.
• Maintaining the used oil disposal location:
• Keeping the area clean and making the appropriate call when the receptacle is near full.

Secondary responsibility:

• Assist the lead Mechanic with all shop related work as needed.
• (Assist in) Repair of all vehicles and equipment.
• Maintenance of all vehicles and equipment.
• General shop clean up. Interior and exterior.
• Vehicle cleanliness. Interior and exterior.
• Parts and equipment runs' to offsite locations. Automotive store, hardware, etc....
• Ordering parts online.
• Online vehicle and equipment repair and maintenance research.

During snow fall, all associates are responsible for snow removal around camp. This may include tractor, vehicle, walk behind equipment or by shovel depending on experience.

Pay and Hours:

Fulltime position

$20-25 per hr DOE
