Area Director

Are you ready for an exciting opportunity to make a big impact? Yellowhammer Salon in Kansas City, KS is seeking a full-time Area Director to join our team! This position enjoys remote work 1-2 days a week, along with 3-4 days each week dedicated to travel.

THE GROWTH YOU HELP PROVIDE

As the leader of 15-25 vibrant salons, you drive growth and foster a positive environment. Your regular virtual meetings strengthen our collaborative team, ensuring seamless operations. You recruit and train salon leaders and stylists, emphasizing quick onboarding and skill enhancement. Your dedication to employee satisfaction and effective performance management ensures a talented and consistent team. With a focus on leadership development, you coach salon leaders to nurture stylists for promotions, fostering a culture of growth. Your hands-on approach includes recognition, coaching, and when needed, staff adjustments.

Technical training is a priority for enhanced performance and guest satisfaction. Beyond operations, your emphasis on team development and overall performance reflects leading as a business owner and embodying excellent customer service. OUR IDEAL AREA DIRECTOR

We're looking for someone who can meet the following qualifications:

• Previous management experience
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
• Ability to travel between salons daily
• Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance

Abilities:

• Strong leadership qualities and presentation skills
• Ability to work at a fast pace while demonstrating good judgment and time management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with the salon team, peers, leadership team, Wal-Mart employees, and customers
• Ability to read and analyze various salon and market reports
• Exceptional comprehension, writing, math, and computer skills
• A demonstrated ability to run a profitable business with a focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience
• A positive attitude and ability to exercise good judgment
