BIGGBY COFFEE Barista: Opening and Afternoon Shifts

BIGGBY COFFEE is a unique, fun, fast-paced place to work. The type of experience that we provide to our customers requires us to hire unique and fun Baristas. In addition to hourly rate, cash and credit tips are earned by ALL baristas! We're looking for Baristas with these qualifications:

Work experience

• Coffee shop experience is considered, but not necessary. We'll teach you everything you need to know.
• Food service experience is helpful, but again not necessary.
• A history of employment that shows that you reliably show up on time and ready to work and perform at a high level.

Skills

• Most importantly, be a genuinely nice person that can make customers feel good and that your fellow baristas like to work with.
• Can handle a fast pace of work, and can manage your time successfully during slower periods.
• Handling and preparing food and custom made beverages.
• Cleaning, washing dishes.
• Preparing and stocking food and beverage ingredients.
• Some lifting is required.
• Operate a cash register on a drive thru system and can accurately and reliably handle cash and credit card payments.

Education

• Although there is no education requirement for this position, most of our baristas have completed high school/GED or are in college.
• Must be able to read and do basic math.
