The Senior Civil Project Manager will be the main point of contact in the day-to-day interaction with the Client’s designated representative and have the ultimate responsibility for both the quality and effective execution of engineering projects including grading, drainage systems, water distribution and supply systems, site development, wastewater collection and treatment systems, and roadways.
• Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate assigned engineering work
• Prepare estimates for engineering work
• Provide guidance and continuously educate team members on standards and changes within client or scope of work
• Prepare weekly project status reports for assigned projects
• Attend meetings with the Client for project review and coordination
• Research and prepare feasibility documents
• Ensure effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between all disciplines and all other project consultants
• Manage, prepare, and coordinate all technical designs of multiple projects
• Monitor work for compliance with applicable codes, accepted engineering practices, standards, and design criteria
• Proactively work with the appropriate authorities having jurisdiction to obtain plan approval and permits
• Attend construction meetings and conduct field observations
Here’s What You’ll Need:
• Licensed professional engineer (P.E.) required.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required, Master’s degree preferred.
• 5 - 10 years of experience since graduation.
• Highly proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office suite.
• Familiarity with regional design criteria.
