CNC Machine Operator

Well-established casework company in Nashville seeks a talented CNC operator to run CNC routers and other equipment. If you have 3+ years of experience successfully running CNCs to produce cabinetry, furniture, architectural millwork or similar wood products, this is a great opportunity to use your skills.

Responsibilities Include:

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings to program CNC machines
• Properly setting up router bits, jigs, fixtures and adjustable stops on table
• Efficiently running production on CNC router and other computer numeric controlled equipment
• Conducting test runs and making any programming adjustments needed
• Completing in-process quality assurance checks during runs
• Performing routine maintenance and minor repairs on CNC machinery
• Maintaining accurate logs of production times, output and equipment issues

To qualify, you must have:

• 3+ years running CNC routers or related CNC equipment
• Experience programming CNCs from technical drawings (not required)
• Strong mathematical skills for programming coordinates
• Technical troubleshooting skills for basic maintenance
• Responsible work ethic and ability to meet production targets
• Attention to detail to spot and correct quality issues
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
