Paint/Prep

Entech Staffing Solutions is seeking experienced Auto Body Painters/Preppers. Positions are full-time with the potential to earn overtime on Saturdays. Candidates should be flexible to assist with other areas in the company such as prepping, sanding, and other duties as assigned. This is a full-time, contract position with the opportunity to go direct based on attendance, attitude, job performance, etc. Pay is based on experience. Pay Rate: $18.00-$20.00/hr

Hours (hours may vary by department):

• 1st Shift: 5:00am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday with possible mandatory overtime on Saturday

• Swing Shift: 10:00am-8:30pm, Monday-Friday with possible mandatory overtime on Saturday

• 2nd Shift: 3:00pm-1:30am, Monday-Friday with possible mandatory overtime on Saturday

Responsibilities:

• Ability to read the work order and the painting materials to assure a proper application

• Work safely in a production environment

• Accept training from others and provide training to newer employees as the opportunity permits

• Complete paint requirements in a timely manner

• Must be able to lift more than 50 pounds on an occasional basis during the course of the work day

• Fully inspect the body at the time of completion to assure specification compliance

• Must be able to work 10-hour days & Saturdays

• Most of the work is standing, so you must have the physical ability to stand for long periods of time

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Experience using a paint gun and DA

• Willingness to work on different products on a daily basis

• May use own tools for paint/prep work.

• Paint, prep supplies and wear items to be supplied by the shop

• Must pass a drug test and criminal background check

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience working on automotive bodies

• Previous work as an industrial painter or in an automotive paint environment

• Previous experience in the truck equipment industry or similar industry

• Previous experience working against timed job standards and a proven record of being able to meet completion standards
