YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:

The Corporate Billing and Credit Manager is responsible for the oversight of the billing and collections efforts for the Company. Responsibilities will include ensuring timely and accurate billing of all projects and entities within Rosendin Holdings, ensuring collection efforts are effective and ongoing, maintaining and tracking lien rights, overseeing the Billing and Collections Departments and reporting to senior management any risk or significant events related to billings and collections.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Ensure all projects are billed regularly and timely in a format acceptable to our customers.

  • Manage all aspects of the billing and credit department including staff, processes, controls, training and systems.

  • Serve as liaison with operations, our customers and finance for billing and collection issue resolution. Escalate issues to senior management as necessary.

  • Manage the credit approval process and establish credit terms for our customers. Evaluate customers for credit worthiness and availability of funding.

  • Evaluate contractual billing requirements pre-award and ensure ongoing adherence to those requirements.

  • Analyze billing and payment data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.

  • Develop metrics on billing and collection performance for senior management. Update and distribute periodically.

  • Stay up to date on industry regulations and best practices for billing and credit.

  • Ensure company establishes, maintains and tracks lien rights until collections are complete. Develop systems to facilitate and streamline this function.

  • Be familiar with lien laws in all states where we operate. Also be familiar with public works collection remedies.

  • Work with Legal to file timely and accurate mechanics liens, stop notices or other documents and filings needed for collection.

  • Review applicable general ledger accounts to ensure they tie to aging reports.

  • Be familiar with functionality of third party billing applications required by our customers.

  • The duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. This is not a complete listing and other duties will be assigned based on the positions role within the business unit.

WHAT YOU BRING TO US:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or similar education

  • 7+ years of experience in billing and collection management preferably with engineering and construction firm

  • Prior experience with Oracle EBS or similar enterprise system preferred

  • Construction, multi-state and multi-entity background highly desired

  • Can be a combination of education, training and relevant experience.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Attention to detail is a must; strong organizational and follow up skills favored

  • Demonstrate the ability to work closely with operations and other departments in finance as required

  • Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance

  • Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, etc)

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary

  • Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude

  • Effective oral and written communication skills as required for the position

  • Ability to be self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player

  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others.

TRAVEL:
  • Staff is located in various locations across the United States. Up to 30% of the time travel could be required.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • General work environment - sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning

  • Noise level is usually low to medium; it can be loud on the jobsite.

  • Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.

Pay Range

$92,800.00-$121,800.00 Annual

The pay range for this role is what we expect to pay for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this job description. Candidate's pay can vary based on location, job-related experience, skills, and education.
