Extrusion Helper | 2nd shift
Are you ready to be a vital part of our production process? We're seeking an enthusiastic Extrusion Helper to join our team and help us deliver top-quality products. If you have experience in plastics processing equipment and a knack for mechanical tasks, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
As an advanced manufacturer of high-quality plastic substrates in polycarbonate and acrylic, operating out of a state-of-the-art headquarters, manufacturing facility, and distribution center, is looking to hire someone with your skills and experience to their team. Be part of a team where you will play a crucial role in setting up, processing, and operating equipment for production runs.
Job Duties:
- Perform changeovers, process checks, and quality assessments during production.
- Record process parameters accurately throughout production runs.
- Assist with basic maintenance tasks as assigned.
Schedule: Monday to Thursday from 8:00pm to 8:00am. Available for overtime when needed.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Requirements:
- Experience in sheet extrusion systems or similar plastics processing equipment.
- Familiarity with materials such as polyesters and synthetic polymers.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work independently through the entire process.
- Capable of understanding and conveying technical information effectively.
- Possess or be willing to obtain AZP forklift certification.
- Must be capable of lifting and moving varying weights up to 60 pounds.
