Critical Care Dietitian Nutritionist II - Full-time

Sodexo is seeking Critical Care Dietitian Nutritionist at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare a 750 bed hospital with 4 adult critical care units, pediatric critical care unit and two neonatal intensive care units. 

This position allows the dietitian to identify an area of interest and will focus on professional training and growth with the experienced RDs.

 

 

The ideal candidate must:

• Be a Registered Dietitian 
• Have at least 3-5 years of experience.
• One year of critical care experience including nutritional support is preferred
• Have a desire to interact with patients who are seeking better management of a chronic disease, such as diabetes or obesity.
• Have the desire for personal and professional growth as well as willing to learn from an established team.
• Strong skills in organization, communication, marketing, and counseling are needed. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with team and independently needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) (Note: For those seeking registration after 2023, a master’s degree will be required)

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision

 

Credentials Requirement:

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
• Specialty credential in area(s) of focused practice, as applicable, or advanced practice certification (RD-AP/RDN-AP)
