Staff Accountant

LHH has partnered with a logistics client in Columbus, Indiana to identify a Staff Accountant to join their corporate accounting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of financial accounting data as well as auditing and development of internal accounting procedures.

 

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the department heads to understand and ensure accuracy of all financial reporting activity

• Assist in preparation and distribution of financial statements

• Processing of AP and AR

• Maintain customer and client accounts

• Manage monthly close processes

• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or related field

• 1 - 3 years' professional experience in accounting

• Professional and effective correspondence with external and internal clients and vendors

• Strong Excel proficiency

• Software knowledge of McLeod and PowerBI

Pay Details: $48,000.00 to $55,000.00 per year
