Logistics Coordinator

Description:

+ Lead communication on shipment statuses, asset shortages, and all other issues that could impact production. Critical function to ensure 100% on-time shipping to customer plants and promotes One Team approach to communication and problem-solving.

Responsibilities include:

+ Lead and Coordinate shipping to customer facilities

+ Serves as logistics lead and works directly with buyers

+ Develop and maintain a strong relationship across multiple departments

+ Lead and manage external carriers on delivery destinations to get products to destination on time.

+ Shipping document creation and issuance for all domestic and international shipments.

+ Responsible for ensuring all documents are compliant

+ Support outside of normal work hours/on-call situations to provide quick solutions to customer plants as logistics issues arise.

+ Identify evaluate and escalate critical issues to management to ensure appropriate allocation of resources in a timely manner.

+ Develop root cause analysis to prevent future repeat issues.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

+ 2 years of relevant experience in supply chain logistics or related field

+ Associate or Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management or Relevant Education Field Preferred or Equivalent Experience Required
