Sharpnack Ford needs to hire a Service Advisor for their busy Service Department. Dealership experience is preferred, but if you have worked in workshops such as; Firestone, Valvoline, Pep Boys, Jiffy Lube, Midas, etc. you may have the experience we require. Responsibilities – Service Advisor:

  • Oversee service orders and flow of Drive Lane. Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous service
  • Advise customers on necessary/suggested services and costs, including special promotions
  • Answer technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, service, and repairs
  • Assist in ordering parts and tools as necessary
  • Oversee administration of warranty claims
  • Follow the status of a customer's vehicle from service bay entry through completion of work
  • Keep customers informed of any changes that occur
  • Upon completion of work, review the work order with the customer
  • Provide a completely satisfied customer experience
  • Schedule appointments for service/maintenance/recall work
  • Distribute work efficiently between technicians

Qualifications/Requirements – Service Advisor:

  • Automotive Service Advisor and/or dealership experience required
  • Ford experience preferred
  • Fantastic customer service and communication skills
  • Friendly personality
  • Time-management skills
  • Professional, well-groomed personal appearance and a positive attitude
  • Team-oriented and self-motivated
  • Able to work with little to no supervision
  • Strong computer skills
  • Good multitasking and organizational skills
  • Clean driving record and valid driver's license
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Resume must be uploaded, and online assessment completed for immediate consideration.
  • Applicants must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screen
