Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our team, specializing in both commercial and residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing HVAC equipment, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. As an HVAC Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and safety of our clients by maintaining, repairing, and installing HVAC systems in both commercial and residential settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems in both commercial and residential environments.
• Perform routine inspections to assess system performance, identify issues, and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Diagnose malfunctions and defects in heating, cooling, and ventilation systems, utilizing diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with clients to explain findings and recommend necessary repairs or replacements.
• Install, calibrate, and upgrade HVAC components, including compressors, motors, fans, thermostats, and control systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, codes, and regulations during all installation and maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate records of all service and repair activities, including parts used, labor hours, and job details.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, explaining maintenance procedures, and offering energy-efficient solutions.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in HVAC systems.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency repairs and service requests.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of HVAC certification or vocational training program preferred.
• Proficiency in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of HVAC equipment and systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical components within HVAC systems.
• Familiarity with refrigeration principles, air distribution, and ventilation systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• EPA 608 certification or equivalent required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in varying weather conditions.
• Availability to participate in on-call rotations for emergency service requests.
