Milwork Drafter/Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Millwork Drafter/Engineer for our rapidly growing Casework and Millwork division located in Oakdale, PA.

What you will do:

• Work independently to create millwork shop drawings from the interpretation of architectural blueprints
• Work with team to review others work and collaborate on department initiatives
• Compose assembly drawings showing joinery details and finishes
• Work with architects, project managers and other interdepartmental entities to problem solve
• Create part drawings for fabrication manually or on our CNC machinery

What you will need to be successful:

• Knowledge in CAD or AutoCAD.  
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and field checks.
• Understanding of build methods within casework & millwork industry.
• Cabinet Vision or Alpha Cam knowledge/experience is a plus. 
• Microsoft OS Proficiency (XP, Vista, 7, 10), Visual Basic (any other programming languages would be a bonus)  
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Associates in or working towards Computer Science, Computer Aided Drafting, Communication or any other technical degree with a focus on Architecture or Drafting and Design
