Compensation:

$60,000 yearly

Responsibilities:
  • Devote an unprecedented level of personal attention when implementing a range of effective sales strategies proven to maintain and grow long-term customer base
  • Update bookkeeping systems, customer records, and sales databases to report your monthly and/or quarterly progress to goals to stakeholders
  • Continue your education on evolving insurance industry protocols to adequately fulfill all policy requirements and monitor insurance claims to customers’ satisfaction
  • Listen attentively to new and potential clients, evaluate their needs and their financial statuses, and propose ideal plan options for their unique circumstances and insurance needs
  • Create tailored risk management strategies directly with clients that align with their risk profiles

Key Duties:

  • Assist existing customers with policy changes and inquiries, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Handle a variety of tasks in a fast-paced office setting, with a primary focus on personal lines insurance for homes and cars
  • Work both on the phone and in person, interacting with customers who walk into the office
  • Collaborate with a friendly team to collectively manage customer needs
Qualifications:
  • Experience with accounting and or sales lead software is a plus
  • Superb analytical, interpersonal communication, and customer service skills are needed to succeed in this role
  • Job seekers must have an insurance license
  • Some computer skills with ability to use Microsoft Office is required
  • Proven understanding of the insurance industry including insurance products, risk management and any state and federal regulations
  • Positive attitude, dependability, and a commitment to long-term professional growth
  • A personal lines insurance license is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right candidate
  • Ability to handle a high volume of calls (approximately 35-40 calls per day)
