Job Posting: Industrial Athletic Trainer - PRN - as needed (BOC, LAT, MAT)

We are actively seeking an Industrial Athletic Trainer (BOC, LAT, MAT) to provide on-site preventative services within industrial settings. This is a PRN position, with hours available Monday - Thursday from 5am - 12am.

Role Overview:

As an Industrial Athletic Trainer, you will operate within on-site industrial environments, employing proactive and educational approaches to enhance Occupational Health and Wellness for employees and contractors. Your responsibilities will include conducting Industrial Intervention Programs based on established protocols, catering to industries such as distribution, logistics, manufacturing, retail, and healthcare. Depending on the site, protective gear such as steel-toed shoes, hard hats, eye, and ear protection might be required.

Qualifications:

  • Active Athletic Trainer (BOC, LAT, MAT) certification in the state of employment.
  • Valid BLS and CPR certifications.
  • Proficiency in outpatient clinical skills, first responder skills, and musculoskeletal education.
  • Familiarity with workplace safety, health regulations, and OSHA guidelines is advantageous.

Physical Demands:

  • Frequent activities include walking, sitting, repetitive arm and leg movement, stooping, forward bending, handling, and keyboard/computer work.
  • Occasional activities involve pinching, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to briskly walk in the field/location for emergencies, observation, and job coaching.
