Who We Are:

Beaver Run Resort and Conference Center is located in Breckenridge, Colorado - the heart of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. What You'll Do:

The Maintenance Grounds Assistant Manager will ensure day-to-day operations of maintaining all grounds. The Maintenance Grounds Assistant Manager will oversee a team of 3-6 grounds staff. Daily duties include resort wide trash removal, snow mitigation and removal, curb painting, garage cleaning and firewood. The ideal candidate will be bilingual with experience in property maintenance who is a self-starter that leads by example: training and delegating tasks, but also being able to provide hands-on support. Full-time, year-round position with benefits eligibility.

Position starts at $55,000/year + DOE.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Directly supervise a team of 3-6 grounds staff
  • Responsible for hiring, performance management/appraisals and corrective action.
  • Training and supervision of daily grounds tasks ensuring quality of work.
  • Ensure all parking lots, entrances, garages and exterior common areas around the resort are free of trash, snow etc.
  • Landscaping, irrigation, planting and common grounds maintenance
  • Operates skid steer machine and plow truck for plowing and trash removal.
  • Maintain firewood stock including ordering from vendor, splitting kindling and neatly stocking.
  • Coordinates periodic balcony shoveling.
  • Plans and coordinates full garage cleaning.
  • Schedules vendor and oversees resort window cleaning twice a year.

What You'll Bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent - required
  • Valid driver's license - required
  • Bilingual - preferred
  • Ability to operate bobcat and plow trucks - required
  • Ability to work early morning and split shifts - preferred
  • Proficient at written and verbal communication in English - required
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite - preferred
  • Related hospitality experience - preferred
  • Must be able to walk, bend, stoop, kneel - required
  • Ability to lift and move 40+ lbs. - required
