Job Description
We are looking for a Full Time Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility of preserving the good condition and functionality of multiple premises. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly in a fast paced and detailed environment. We are seeking an independent, hard working employee that is organized, detailed and understands the importance of communication and working together as a team. Must have dependable transportation.   *This job requires travel between multiple properties which can be up to an hour commute* Maintenance experience is required Responsibilities Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standardsPerform maintenance and installation of systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels, change filter furnaces etc.), assist in setup of systems and conduct repairs when necessary, maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionalityAbility to navigate smart phone, electronic work orders and tabletInspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when neededPerform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)Willing to perform a variety of maintenance tasks including painting, HVAC troubleshooting, janitorial, inspections, landscaping, snow removal, etc. Skills Proven experience as maintenance technicianCommunicate and partner with all levels of management as well as vendorsBasic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systemsKnowledge of general maintenance processes and methodsWorking knowledge of tools, common appliances and devicesManual dexterity and problem-solving skillsGood physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtimeHigh school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plusCertified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) is desired Job Type: Full-time Work setting: In-person  Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)  License/Certification: Driver's License (Required)  Work Location: In person
