AutoCAD Drafter: Electrical Power Distribution, Cedar City, UT

 Growing company in Cedar City, UT, currently needs an AutoCad drafter to replace an incumbent’s internal promotion.

Candidates must be willing to learn, self-motivated, and very detail oriented. Could be fresh out of school with minimal experience and looking to begin or expand fulltime electrical AutoCAD drafting career.

Experience:

• Drafting using AutoCad (required)- 1+ year to experienced
• Drafting or designing of medium voltage switchgear, low voltage switchboards, or UL 891 switchboards. (Some relevant combination resembling this is required)

Duties:

• Reviewing engineering specifications and converting them into engineering drawings
• Creating engineering bills of materials
• Tracking project progress and problem solving when projects get off schedule
• Revising drafting work of others and giving correction. 
• Inspecting work-in-progress assembly for quality and completion.
