Job Summary
The Community Manager helps oversees the day-to-day operations of the assigned communities by utilizing and enforcing policies, procedures, and practices that enable the communities to meet sales requirements, collect rent payments, maintain low delinquencies, ensure maintenance projects are completed, and communities are maintained at a high level of care - all to ensure excellent support and service to the residents and growth and stability of the company.
Essential Job Duties
- Supports leasing, maintenance, and resident relations
- Conducts administrative tasks relative to accounts receivables/payables (including collections), work order processing, ordering/shipping/receiving, vendor maintenance, and office management
- Utilizes marketing strategies to attract new residents and retain current residents
- Conducts property tours and showcases available lots and/or units to prospective residents
- Responds to inquiries and provide excellent customer service to current and potential residents
- Utilizes effective phone etiquette to handle incoming calls and address resident concerns
- Maintains accurate and compliant records and files related to leasing, resident information, and property maintenance
- Coordinates move-ins and move-outs, ensuring a smooth transition for residents
- Addresses and resolves conflicts or issues that arise between residents or with the property
Qualifications
- Available full-time 40 hours per week between Monday through Friday from 8 AM - 5 PM
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish candidates a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships with residents
- Experience in property leasing and customer relationship management and/or related field
- Proficiency in using office equipment and software solutions
- Excellent conflict management skills to handle difficult situations with professionalism
- Attention to detail in maintaining accurate records and files
- Basic understanding of property maintenance procedures
- Availability to flex shift times occasionally based on business needs
- Ability to push, pull and lift 25+ pounds
Compensation
- Expected annual compensation based on experience and sum of hourly pay: $35,000-$40,000
