Medical/Dental/Vision/Life/STD/LTD after 90 days with no premium cost to employee. Retirement Savings includes company match.
$15.95 hourly rate with a $500 Sign-on Bonus After 90 full-time Days Worked
2nd Shift 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m., with a $.25 premium.
3rd Shift 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m., with a $.35 premium.
$15.95 Starting Hourly Pay (Max Pay $17.99)
This job involves industrial cleaning and janitorial activity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Using solvents, high pressure water blasters and manual scraping/chipping to clean walls, hoses, windows, grates, lights, robots
- Grease rails and other minor preventative maintenance
- Vacuum and wipe interior and exterior of equipment
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
- Perform other specialized paint booth cleaning jobs as required.
- Lock out/tag out of equipment for safe entry into energized areas of the paint shop.
- Confined space entry procedures for safe entry into confined space areas needing to be cleaned
- General janitorial functions such as office and restroom cleaning
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED
- Prefer 3 years’ experience with janitorial duties, power cleaning equipment.
- Able to stand, kneel, bend, and reach for extended periods of time.
- Able to climb ladders and stairs without difficulty.
- Lifting, carrying, and pulling equipment of various size, shape, and weight
- Experience with motorized carts, forklift truck, scrubbers a plus
Metro Detroit Site Manager opening for a premier automotive manufacturing customer account. As a leader in Paint Shop Optimization, the primary responsibility is to sustain our In-Plant Services Program, providing responsive supervision to a multi-shift unionized operations, managing both hourly and salary, team members. The ideal Site Manager candidate must be able to partner cohesively with senior management, supplier customers, vendors, and stakeholders, to ensure all company performance goals and objectives are met and maintained.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the administration of the site safety program and assurance that safe work practices are adopted and practiced
Drive budget set/tracking / cost saving initiatives / Kaizen review
Perform consistent non-routine pre-task risk assessments (PTSP)
Proactively interface with the operations team and Leadership to address program's weekly strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT)
Responsible for driving quality booth optimization and continuous improvement reports
Ensure standardization of work through the development of TISs and standardized work schedules
Manage training matrix and ensure all training is up to date
Develop measurable audit programs to assess the quality of the team’s work (LPAs, buy-offs, SOTs, etc)
Perform basic accounting tasks
Coordinate and track employee work schedules and consumables
Generate and approve purchase orders and invoices
Lead and mentor Lead Supervisor personnel
Create, review and track management performance metrics with the salary staff
Prefer candidates that are mechanical inclined to operate/understand industrial cleaning equipment issues
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
• Prefer five years of manufacturing experience with direct supervisory responsibilities
• Preference for three years of Automotive paint experience
• Proven success in account management including personnel management, procedure implementation, P&L management and investigative solutions
• Proficient Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• ISO 9000 and/or ISO 14001, experience desirable
• Accelerative philosophy skills in management with the ability to rapidly adjust to changing atmospheres and to foresee current and future opportunities for growth
The annual salary range for the position is between $70K to $75K
