Hotel General Manager

The General Manager (GM) is primarily responsible for creating a positive guest experience by delivering an excellent product to the guest. The GM must ensure maintenance of all aspects of the hotel to provide a clean, safe, secure facility staffed with pleasant, helpful employees to provide for all the guests' needs. The GM will have a high degree of professionalism, and a helpful attitude, and be dependable, flexible, well-groomed, detailed, and organized.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the location’s daily operations, including administrative programs, as well as achieve all budgets and goals of the Company.
• Respond to and resolve guest needs, requests, and complaints.
• Maintain responsibility for the hotel facilities, equipment, and assets at all times.
• Assist in marketing the hotel, performing sales calls and following up on sales leads. Maintain high visibility in the surrounding community and in the hospitality community.
• Perform all hotel duties in all departments, as required.
• Maintain the hotel and its operation in accordance set forth by law, by the owners, and by the franchiser, as required.

​Qualifications:

• Five+ years’ hotel experience preferred.
• Must possess the ability to work all shifts as required.
• Must be able to work within all departments as required.
• Must adhere to the Comfort Inn Conference Center Pittsburgh East Policies and Procedures Manual and Employee Handbook.
