Food Service UTILITY, Stock, Dishwasher, Full time

We are seeking a UTILITY Person to keep the dish room clean, and all stock replenished. Backend Kitchen type work.

 You will be responsible for maintaining a sanitary environment.

LAKE WALES, WINTERHAVEN, LAKELAND, PLANT CITY, LITHIA, VALRICO, BRANDON, BARTOW, MULBERRY all close in proximity.

Responsibilities:

• Bring trays to kitchen and load dishwasher with care.
• Will be required to lift 25-60 pounds, BREAK DOWN CARTS AND CLEAN
• Will keep items stocked in stock room and keep clean.
• Must be on your feet for 75-100% of the shift. This is a busy position.
• Able to work with a team and/or alone to carry out duties on shift.
• Wrap, label, prepare items for patrons.
• Sanitize kitchen and items as well as handle/clean BIG pots.
• Excellent attendance and a good positive attitude are necessary!!

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in food service OR restaurants/DISHWASHING, STOCKING at least 6 months to 1 year.
• Dishwasher AND STOCK experience, commercial grade, in a previous job.
• Understands food safety and sanitization methods.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and communication skills, MUST SPEAK ENGLISH
• Strong attention to detail
• Hearing, vision, speech, and color vision are all required for the position.
• Be aware of communication in writing and verbally. Take notes.
• Able to stand, stoop, bend, twist, reach and walk fast if needed to meet timelines.
• Physically capable of doing the job.
• Courteous, kind, respectful, caring and attentive.

Must be available to work able to work 2 different alternating times, 7a-3p and 12p to 8p, MONDAY THRU SUNDAY SCHEDULE, 2-3 DAYS OFF A WEEK, WEEKEND INCLUDED IN SCHEDULE.

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS ON A PRESCHEDULED BASIS AND FILL IN WHEN NEEDED.

$15.00-$15.50 an hour to start, increase if hired permanently with full benefits. Good attendance necessary.
