We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our team as a Superintendent in the Commercial Construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of construction projects, overseeing all operations from the initial design phase through to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising crews, managing budgets, ensuring safety standards, and coordinating schedules. This role requires a hands-on leader with a strong understanding of the electric, plumbing, and mechanical trades, as well as a proven track record in project management and cost control.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise on-site construction crews, ensuring all work is performed according to plan and maintaining a high level of productivity.
2. Coordinate and manage project schedules, ensuring all deadlines are met and projects are completed on time.
3. Manage project budgets, including preparing cost estimates and controlling expenses to stay within budgetary limits.
4. Read and interpret blueprints, ensuring all work is performed according to specifications.
5. Implement and oversee safety management protocols, ensuring all work is performed in a safe manner and in compliance with all relevant regulations.
6. Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
7. Continually monitor the progress of the project, making necessary adjustments to ensure successful completion.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 4 years of experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
2. Proven experience in electric, plumbing, and mechanical trades.
3. Demonstrated ability in managing budgets and controlling costs.
4. Strong knowledge of safety management and regulatory compliance.
5. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.
6. Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of successfully completing projects on time and within budget.
7. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
9. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues promptly and effectively.
