Frye Regional Medical Center, located in the beautiful foothills of North Carolina is a 355-bed acute care hospital, 81-bed Behavioral Health facility and more than 70 primary and specialty care providers.

 

Essential Functions

Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patent care delivery, information technologies, service level determination and complaint management, to achieve program quality control objectives

Minimum Education

  • Bachelor's Degree from accredited laboratory training program – Required

Licenses/Certifications

  • Registered as a Medical Technologist by The American Society of Clinical Pathologists
  • MT/MLS Certification from ASCP or AMT Required. All individuals certified ASCP beginning January 1, 2004 must participate and maintain ASCP Board of Certification (BOC) through the Certification Maintenance Program (CMP). All individuals who are certified AMT beginning January 1, 2006 must participate and maintain AMT Certification Continuation Program (CCP)

Minimum Work Experience

  • 3 years of experience as laboratory tech. - Required
