Quality of Work – Facility Manager 1. Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation. 2. Complete inspections of the facility to identify and resolve issues. 3. Ensure that the facility is always safe and secure. 4. Check electrical and mechanical systems to ensure functionality. 5. Plan and oversee preventative maintenance activities, repairs, or projects. 6. Maintain equipment inventory and place orders when necessary. 7. Monitor maintenance expenses and confirm expenses are within the allocated budget. 8. Manage relationships with contractors and suppliers. 9. Maintain logs and report all maintenance activities. 10. Ensure health and safety policies are complied with. 11. Confirm annual inspections are done on time and permits are up to date. Quality of Work – Assembly Supervisor 12. Manage associates to ensure work orders are completed in the priority order assigned. 13. Ensure work orders are performed per instructions/ drawings/ prints. 14. Inform your supervisor if there is not a work order available for the task you have been assigned. 15. Confirm associates have all materials, components, and tools on hand prior to starting a work order or project. 16. Inform your supervisor if the work being assigned cannot be completed as instructed. 17. Work is to be done with the utmost quality in mind. Items plumbed, squared, and straight lines. Items are to be identified as required upon completion of work such as labeling electrical boxes, controls, control panels, and color-coding conduit air lines, gas, and electrical lines, etc. 18. Ensure all work is performed according to required code. 19. Always comply with lock out tag out protocol while performing work. 20. Ensure work areas are cleaned when your task is complete and put supplies and tools away in their proper storage area. Safety 21. Comply with all safety procedures and protocol. Always maintain a consistent and high level of productivity whether you are working in your assigned department, in another department or working on a task, maintenance activity or project. 5S- Organization and Cleanliness 23. Comply with all 5S policies and procedures (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain). 24. Keep your work area clean, neat, and organized at all times. Labor Reporting & Record Keeping 25. Clock in and out of all jobs you work on in the company time click to report your labor. This includes all work you perform. Labor reporting is to be done accurately and in a timely manner. 26. Maintain all company records neatly and accurately that have been assigned to you. Qualifications 1. High school diploma or equivalent: degree from vocational school or BS/BA in business. 2. 2 years or more experience managing and performing maintenance activities within a manufacturing environment. 3. Valid Certified Maintenance Manager is a plus. 4. Experience as facility manager or other managerial roles. 5. Experience performing preventative maintenance operations and routines. 6. Knowledge and demonstrated skills in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and machine-tool repair. 7. Good mechanical aptitude. 8. Experience in reporting and tracking maintenance activity. 9.
