Job Description
Job Summary: Seeking a Safety Projects Mechanical Engineer with experience in manufacturing safety processes and mechanical design, particularly in heavy equipment manufacturing.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
3-5 years of experience dealing with facility/manufacturing safety processes
Demonstrated experience in mechanical design, preferably in heavy equipment manufacturing
In-depth knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to heavy equipment
Experience with risk assessment methodologies
Familiarity with CAD software and simulation tools
Responsibilities:
Play a critical role in ensuring the design, implementation, and maintenance of safety features and systems for heavy equipment products
Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Conduct risk assessments
Implement safety measures to enhance the overall safety performance of our manufacturing process and facility
Continuous improvement for safety initiatives
Work closely with Design/Manufacturing Engineers
Pay Details: $31.00 to $42.00 per hour
