Safety Projects Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary: Seeking a Safety Projects Mechanical Engineer with experience in manufacturing safety processes and mechanical design, particularly in heavy equipment manufacturing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

• 3-5 years of experience dealing with facility/manufacturing safety processes

• Demonstrated experience in mechanical design, preferably in heavy equipment manufacturing

• In-depth knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to heavy equipment

• Experience with risk assessment methodologies

• Familiarity with CAD software and simulation tools

Responsibilities:

• Play a critical role in ensuring the design, implementation, and maintenance of safety features and systems for heavy equipment products

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Conduct risk assessments

• Implement safety measures to enhance the overall safety performance of our manufacturing process and facility

• Continuous improvement for safety initiatives

• Work closely with Design/Manufacturing Engineers

 

Pay Details: $31.00 to $42.00 per hour
