Job Details:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Controller to join our growing team in the Manufacturing industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented financial professional who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is passionate about contributing to a company's financial success. The Controller will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounting and financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, and report variances.
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Additional controller duties as necessary.
• Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
• Interact with the executive team and individual departments to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports, and recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. CPA or MBA is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
• Proven working experience as a financial controller.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Experience with creating financial statements.
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills, including Quickbooks and Sage 50.
• Familiarity with Full Charge Bookkeeping, GAAP, and external auditors.
• Strong analytical skills and experience generating financial reports.
• Ability to strategize and solve problems.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly with Excel.
