Part-Time
Basic Function:
Prepare and serve drinks to guests.
Duties:
* Prepare and serve drinks. * Collect money for drinks/food served. * Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for the purchase of alcohol. * Clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment. * Balance cash receipts. * Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar. * Adhere to all State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations. * Maintain, stock, cut and store all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables. * Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner, promote and document orders for drinks. * Input orders into the point of sale system and create checks for each guest. * Lock up and store all beverages, food and other equipment items. * Deposits cash drops and secure bank. * Maintain a clean workspace. * Have complete knowledge of drink (cocktail) recipes. * Prepare specialty drink requests.

* High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) preferred. * Bartending experience. * Must work well with or without direct supervision. * Flexibility to work varying schedules to include weekends and holidays. * Food Handling, CPR, First Aid certificates are preferred. * Must attend the hotels Alcohol Awareness training program. * Must be able to legally prove age of at least 21 years.
