International Account Coordinator


The Morning Star Company and its affiliates operate three tomato processing facilities in Central California, processing over 1/3 of the California processing tomato crop, in addition to tomato transplanting, farming, harvesting and trucking operations. The company employs approximately 600 year-round and 2,500 seasonal colleagues.

The Morning Star Company is the largest independent producer of bulk tomato ingredient products (tomato paste and diced tomatoes) in the world. We also produce canned tomatoes, tomato products and specialty sauces in pouches for customers in the retail and food service markets. Mission

The Mission of the International Account Coordinators is to receive and successfully handle customer requests for product, services and related information, in order to promptly and accurately fulfill their requirements. The successful candidate will develop and maintain an enthusiastic presence for Morning Star in the marketplace.

This person will work with several other sales and account service colleagues and is being added to handle additional business and further advance our service to customers. The position is located at Liberty Packing in Los Banos.

Responsibilities

  1. Order management, including working with more than fifty unique customers to receive, enter and track orders, while working with distribution and accounting colleagues to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  2. Traffic coordination for export customer accounts.
  3. Respond to and resolve difficult and sensitive inquiries and complaints.
  4. Follow and reconcile customer contract commitments on a regular basis to ensure compliance with agreed upon shipping time frames.
  5. Communicate with sales colleagues and customers on orders and follow up as needed. Proactively and independently manage customers’ requests and schedules.
  6. Compile, maintain, process, and prepare a variety of records and reports.
  7. Must be able to handle multiple tasks without losing focus.
  8. Must be able to meet required deadlines.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Excellent computer skills, especially with Excel
  • Methods and techniques for conflict resolution
  • Fluent in English; effective written and verbal communication Experience in exports or customer service is desired, but not required

Pay range: $20-$23 per hour.
