WP Special Events & Group Sales Coordinator

Neptune Island offers a wide variety of special events throughout its season, including our Independence Day Celebration, Mermaid Mondays, Labor Day Luau, and more! Our Special Events & Group Sales Crew Members are energetic, driven and detail-oriented individuals who are looking to make events at Neptune Island spectacular. Our Special Events Crew is responsible for coordinating our large park-wide events, as well as, hosting all birthday celebrations at Neptune Island throughout the season. Our Group Sales Crew is also responsible for coordinating large groups of 15 or more people from their initial inquiries and ticket sales all the way through their group adventure day a Neptune Island.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides outstanding guest service.
• Operates a computerized Point of Sale system in an efficient and timely manner.
• Assists guests in the purchasing tickets for large groups of 15 or more.
• Assists management in coordinating large events.
• Provides day-of host duties for all events, including birthday parties.
• Ensures that all guest receive prompt and courteous attention.
• Maintains clean work stations and perform end of shift cleaning duties.
• Any other duties as assigned by management, supervisors or leads.

Age Requirement: Must be at least 17 years old.

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time with exposure to direct sunlight, hot temperatures and other inclement weather.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds, or higher with assistance.
• Participate in mandatory in-service training throughout the season.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Cash handling skills a plus.
