Sr. Tax Analyst - I (Part-Time)

Our multinational pharmaceutical client is hiring for Sr. Tax Analyst. This is 20 hrs/week (part time) role in Rahway, NJ

Job Title: Sr. Tax Analyst - I (Part Time)
Location: Rahway, NJ 07065

Hours: M - F 9:00am-2:00pm

Pay Rate: $48

Note: Part Time: 20hrs/week and candidate need to be onsite 2 or 3 times a week.

Qualification:
Education: Bachelors
Years of experience: 2-3

Required Experience and Skills:
Experience in Microsoft Office applications including SharePoint.
Comfortable with ERP payment processing
Experience Large Tax or Finance Department.
Excellent organization and planning skills
Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, be a problem solver.
Ability to interface with personnel at all levels across the Company and with consultants.
Commitment to meet deadlines.
Ability to learn new software quickly.

Preferred Experience and Skills:
Prior experience in a corporate tax compliance function
Experience with SAP, Corptax.

Responsibilities:
Processing all tax payments, including checks, EFT’s and wire transfers, Indirect Tax funding requests and payment of monthly processing fees.
Maintaining all records related to tax payments and provide support for quarterly internal and external audit reviews.
Process all tax returns for mailing and e-filings. Assist with state tax e-filings, and maintain all electronic files related to tax returns to ensure files contain audit ready documentation.
Handling all administrative duties to support the Tax Operations Group including collecting and sorting the mail, updating our mail log, as well as other general administrative tasks.
Providing support as needed for sales and use tax audits including pulling invoices from SAP, making copies, and accessing records from archives.
