Position Overview

Store Managers are responsible for the day-to-day operations established by SNDOC. Organizing all store operations and allocating responsibilities to personnel. Supervising and guiding staff towards maximum performance. Preparing and controlling the store's budget aiming for minimum expenditure and efficiency. They work closely with the General Operations Manager to develop an effective sales/customer service team.


Responsibilities

  1. Must have reliable transportation with regular consistent and punctual attendance.
  2. Being willing to work weekends, evenings, and regular business hours.
  3. Establish and maintain positive relationships with executive level management, other managerial and supervisory staff, employees, and the public.
  4. Demonstrates excellent customer service skills to resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  5. Conduct regular safety and security meetings with employees.
  6. Enforce all Safety and Security policies and report all unsafe conditions.
  7. Report and process all employee and/ or customer incidents or accidents following company procedure.
  8. Motivates, Mentor, and Train personnel in all areas of retail sales.
  9. Implement and enforce established daily operating procedures to ensure store is clean, adequately stocked, organized, and well kept.
  10. Ensures daily reports, deposits and invoices are completed correctly.
  11. Manager and supervise daily, monthly, and annual inventories, performing sample test counts and reconciliations as assigned.
  12. Schedules personnel.
  13. Supervise and discipline store employees when necessary, according to company policy.
  14. Manage and supervise employees to ensure that all merchandise is stocked attractively, displayed in a safe manner, and priced correctly.
  15. Communicate any problems with merchandise pricing to General Operations Manager.
  16. Monitor daily retail gasoline competitors and sending the prices to the corporate office in a timely manner as established by management.
  17. Complete daily paperwork and computer entry in a timely manner as established by management.
  18. Monitor cash over/short, inventory shrinkage, and drive offs daily.
  19. Orders supplies and maintain inventory records for assessment and reporting to GOM.
  20. Communicate and perform all price change request, mark downs / ups as requested by the GOM.
  21. Completes any other tasks, duties, or assignments.

Requirements:

Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervises site store cashier clerks; responsible for development and training of all employees offering supervision to the operations by keeping them on track. Store Managers take responsibility for ensuring smooth operation of site stores.


Education and/or Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two (2) + years of experience in retail sales or related positions with Supervisory experience preferred
  • Business or management courses is a plus

Qualifications/Preferred Skills

  • Computer literate with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Outlook skills strongly preferred
  • Ability to effectively manage a busy workload with multiple priorities
  • Self-starter attitude with a strong drive to complete tasks daily
  • Must possess solid technical skills and be comfortable around technology
  • Must possess the ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with management, staff, co-workers, and the public
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills required

Position Type, Hours of Work & Travel

· Full-time (40 hours or more per week)

· Non-exempt (hourly)

· On call, flexible shifts, possible cover shifts for cashiers

· Travel will be required for bank deposits, mileage will be paid by SNDOC
