Service Technician HVAC Residential - Light Construction

We are looking for a Residential/Light Commercial Service Technician to join our team! Responsibilities may include some or all the following: Perform preventative maintenance, service, and repair heating and air conditioning systems; Perform trim and sets on occasion.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements
• Perform routine preventative maintenance
• Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems on occasion
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests on rotating basis
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• High moral and ethical values
• Team player
• 3-5 years residential/light commercial experience
• Strong diagnostic skills
• Familiar with heat pump and gas/electric splits and package systems, ductless mini/multi splits
• Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams
• Clean driving record
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Possession of High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
• EPA certification
• Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills
• Must have an honest and dependable personality.
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Strong ability to distinguish between various HVAC equipment
• Self-motivated individual with strong ability to follow instructions and work alone, as well as work effectively within a team.
• Ability to display professional company image.
• Possession of valid GA driver's license with good record of driving
• Strong ability to write and read in English language.
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 100lbs safely.
• Strong ability to operate under severe temperature conditions for long periods of time.
• Ability to climb, stoop, balance, crouch, crawl, or/and kneel continually.

Pay: $30/hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday 8-5
• Daily overtime as needed
• On Call Rotation: one week a month

• HVAC: 3-5 years (Required)
