Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Use of GD&T Practices and principles to read and interpret blueprints for the purpose of performing in-process, final inspection of Oil field related equipment (Valves, Blocks, Pumps Etc.), welded and fabricated equipment.
  • Follow shop routers/work order to schedule sequence inspection/testing operations.
  • Perform Receiving, In-process, Final Inspection utilizing drawing specifications.
  • Document review for Receiving, In-process, Final Inspections, and Vendor pre-ship Databook’s.
  • File and maintain all Quality Control records.
  • Perform essential duties following the Quality Management System.
  • Report and document nonconformance or potential problems relating to the quality of product and/or the QMS.
  • Comply with all F-E-T, company and HSE policies and procedures and Report unsafe work practices.

Skills/Knowledge

  • Knowledge of dimensional inspection, testing and manufacturing methods.
  • Use of precision Measuring equipment (Depth Gauges, ID/OD Mics, Calipers, Etc.)
  • Working Knowledge of Industry standards such as API Q1 & 6A and ISO 9001:2015 (preferred, not required).
  • Document Review/Approval consisting of MTR’s (Material Test Reports), NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) reports, Vendor Pre-ship Data books etc.
  • Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing process and equipment.
  • CMM and FARO Arm experience. (Preferred, not required)
  • Experience with various quality processes including Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), First Article Inspection (FAI), CAPA (Corrective and Preventative Action), and RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action).
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office,
  • Must be driven and self-motivated.
  • Excellent follow-through.
  • Must be goal-oriented, quality-conscientious, and customer-focused.

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience

  • 1+ years of related manufacturing quality work history.
