Automotive Parts Counter

Job Summary:
Lamoille Valley Chevrolet is seeking a motivated and experienced Automotive Parts Counter Salesperson to join our team in Hyde Park, Vermont. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of automotive parts and accessories, excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their automotive parts needs, maintaining inventory levels, and contributing to overall sales goals. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth within the company.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Identify and locate automotive parts and accessories for customers
- Provide accurate pricing and product information
- Process customer orders and payments
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and keep shelves organized and stocked
- Collaborate with service department to ensure timely delivery of parts
- Assist in identifying and resolving customer concerns
- Meet and exceed sales targets and goals
- Keep up-to-date with new products and promotions
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in automotive parts sales or similar role preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and accessories
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Customer service-oriented mindset
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with computer systems and software
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
