Survival Flight is seeking a full-time Facilities Maintenance Technician to be based in Batesville, Arkansas, and perform routine maintenance and general repairs across multiple facilities. This position will work closely with our maintenance team to ensure that all our facilities are in top-notch condition to meet the needs of our growing company. The Facilities Maintenance Technician should have experience in general carpentry, repairing walls and doors, painting, assembling shelving and furniture, and be able to perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and general repairs in multiple facilities
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff
- Provide excellent customer service
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs
- Work collaboratively with the maintenance managers
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED (General Education Degree)
- Proven experience as a handyman
- Excellent driving record
- General knowledge of electrical and plumbing repair
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and move materials up to 80 lbs.
