Radiology Technologist - Full-time - 7 on/7 off Night Shift (6 pm to 6 am)

Performs radiologic procedures and assists physicians and radiologists at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Responsible for all Radiology and CT exams/procedures in different departments of the hospital, including but not limited to Emergency Department, Surgery, ICU, Fluoro and Portables. Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures. Ensures a high quality of images produced.

Day shift. Must be available for shifts outside scheduled shift, including but not limited to nights/weekends/holidays. Position requires rotating call schedule

Requirements

• Associate’s degree (A. A.) in Radiologic Technology from two- year college or technical school; or graduate of an accredited school of radiation sciences as evidenced by licensure in the State of Texas.
• Six months to one-year related experience and/ or training preferred; or
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be a Certified Radiologic Technologist licensed as an MRT (Medical Radiologic Technologist) with the Texas Medical Board.
• Computed Tomography (CT) experience preferred.
• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or eligible.
• Must be CPR certified.
