QQE is one of the largest companies in the United States that specializes in the design and manufacture of solid quartz products for the Semiconductor, Solar, Fiber Optic, and Lighting Industries.

As a CNC Lathe Machinist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive high-quality products that meet their specifications.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Setup CNC Lathe machines to run production as needed
  • Troubleshoot problems during CNC production to minimize non-conformances.
  • When problems rise, notify the superior (Cell Lead)
  • Use calipers, mics, indicators while performing setups to ensure machines and fixtures are set correctly
  • Use basic math skills to determine and conduct tool offsets
  • Read CMM reports generated from parts that were ran through production to ensure quality standards and specs are being met
  • Dress and set tools for the CNC machines
  • Operate multiple machines
  • Perform Daily 5S (Cleaning)
  • Conduct daily machine visual inspections and ensure coolant levels are adequate.
  • Other duties as requested.
