Salary: $15-$16 Hourly

Flowers Community Living, LLC. provides residential services to adults with developmental disabilities in Lithonia, GA. We are looking a lead person to work in a group home to assist with keeping community outings, ADLs and individualized goals. There is room for growth and accruing more hours within the company! 

Time: Weekends 11am-11pm


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Providing personal care and assisting with ADLs: This skill includes meal preparation, administering medication and housekeeping.
  • Teaching independent living: This involves helping clients to develop the necessary skills for living alone or completing tasks on their own.
  • Working with intellectual disabilities: For many clients, it can be valuable to have prior experience assisting those with developmental disabilities.
  • Complete trainings to maintain competency for the job.
  • Document goals and progress of individuals daily tasks
  • Maintain client and community safety.
  • Engage individuals in community integration, promote social interaction, and give instructional support.
  • Develop rapport with the individuals where they feel comfortable and able to build a trusting relationship.
  • Adhere to HIPPAA and agency policies.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to perform basic housekeeping duties, run errands, and prepare meals
  • Ability to pass background check
  • Reliable transportation
  • Experience working with people with developmental disabilities
