Registered Nurse (RN) (FT, PT, PRN, and Temporary Contract)

NaphCare is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) just like you at the Black Hawk County Jail located in Waterloo, Iowa.  Full Time Shifts, PRN Nights, and 13-week contracts are  available. Pay rates range from $32.30 to $40.37 per hour based on shift, site needs, and experience. We have opportunities for full-time with great benefits, part-time, PRN, and 13-week temporary contracts available.

This service streamlines continuing education for all NaphCare Employees to meet state specific requirements for maintaining licensing. 

Position Description:

• Take and document all patient history and vital signs
• Assist with daily triage/sick call, minor medical/surgical procedures, patient assessments, examinations and/or treatment
• Initiate and document prescribed protocol agreement
• Respond to and initiate care for medical emergencies within the facility
• Observe and evaluate the performance of the licensed practical/vocational nursing staff
