Summary

The MIL Corporation seeks an IT Asset Management Analyst (Asset Management, Junior Analyst) to work with a Federal Government client at our Lexington Park, MD location. The IT Asset Management Analyst will provide support to the project manager and/or engineering staff on various engineering and technical support tasks. This is an entry level position with opportunities for growth based on performance.

This position currently requires an on-site schedule with 5 days on-site. Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Support development, management, and organization of project documentation, including purchasing requests, shipping requests, issue requests, supply lists, and justifications
  • Track and monitor material status and delivery of hardware/software items
  • Perform reconciliations of items and quantities shipped/received and update material management databases
  • Perform data entry, file maintenance, and data retrieval and reporting functions
  • Other duties as assigned

Travel

10% travel required

Required Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
  • Team player with positive attitude and great work ethic
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Very organized with great attention to detail
  • Experience utilizing asset and license management software, logistics and material handling of IT and data infrastructure hardware/materials
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, specifically Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior project, IT, Data Center, or material management experience within DoD organizations
  • Willingness to work on a wide variety of engineering and technical support projects
  • Project management, IT, or Engineering certifications

Education

Associate's Degree. Four (4) years of additional work experience related to the position may be substituted for an Associate's degree.

Salary at MIL is determined based on factors such as qualifications, experience, and contractual limitations. For this position, the projected compensation range is $55,000 - $70,000 per year.
